This class will build your fluency in Geometry. Geometry is the area of mathematics that studies perpendicular lines, complementary angles, coordinate planes, adjacent angles, right angles, exterior angles, geometric shapes, and the distances and relationships between them. Come learn all of the geometry fundamentals including how to calculate areas of complex shapes, how to measure angles, how to prove and apply the Pythagorean theorem, how to apply properties of triangles and quadrilaterals, and how to apply geometry formulas. You will build a solid understanding of parallel lines, the Pythagorean theorem, right triangles, conic sections, tangent circles, regular polygons, Heron’s formula, congruent angles, geometric curves, arc lengths, geometric concepts, supplementary angles, rhombus measuring, isosceles triangles, dimensional objects interior angles, geometric figures, and more. Learning how to solve geometry problems by using deductive reasoning and other types of strategies will be vital to having success in this subject and a future STEM career. Through a special link, we will invite students for live whiteboard interactive lessons, interactive problem-solving and group work, and accessing the practice problem sets and modules once their registration is complete. Students in PUF classes build a strong, in-depth foundational knowledge of the subject matter as they learn the difficult concepts through easy-to-understand learning methods and practice with complex word problems.

Self-Paced, Flexible Option Prefer flexibility in your schedule? Have a scheduling conflict? We have several students in the same boat as you and have designed our classes to be self-paced and flexible for such circumstances! In this option, all instruction is pre-recorded and available for students to review in their class portal at their own time, along with the class reading materials and practice problem sets. You will not be missing any component of the class. Your Professor for the class will also hold weekly office hours so that you may engage with them and ask any questions that may arise from the material. 
Math skills lay the basic foundation of any STEM course and career. If you are good in your math classes, you will do well in your STEM courses such as physics, chemistry, engineering, and higher-level math courses.
